Many in BC, especially farmers, are still in the middle of this disaster. We’re hearing what you need, our government and the federal government are with you and we are doing all we can to help you get back on your feet.
Here is some of the most up to date information from our government:
- Sections of Highway 1 in Abbotsford are now open for agricultural relief;
- The Province has introduced travel restrictions and is prioritizing fuel for essential vehicles to make sure essential services have what they need and goods can get to communities;
- Highway 1 is now open along several corridors as repairs and cleanup continue:
- Highway 99 is now open to essential traffic only;
- Information on drinking-water wells in flooded areas;
- The Chief coroner's statement on mudslide search efforts;
- Highway 7 is open to essential traffic only;
- Financial assistance is available for people effected by the flooding; and
- The Province has declared a State of Emergency.
