Monday, March 8th was International Women’s Day. On
this day, and every day that follows, we recognize the work of
women, girls, two-spirit, and non-binary people who lead the way towards a
more equitable future for our province. For many Indigenous women, women
of colour, women with disabilities and people in the 2SLGBTQ+ community,
the pandemic has only heightened the inequalities that still exist. That’s
why we are re-committing ourselves to breaking down barriers so that everyone
can plan for a brighter future.
